EMPOWER UP is a non-profit organization that accepts used electronics.  Our mission is to divert surplus electronics from landfills and waterways, help limited resource families and individuals bridge the digital divide, provide low cost refurbished electronics to the general public and offer hard skill/soft skill workforce training.  Funding support comes from (1) Refurbished electronics sales in our ReUse store and on eBay; (2) Ethical recycling of surplus electronics.  Approximately 80% of donated items we receive are recycled.  In 2013 Empower Up recycled  over 145 tons of surplus electronics.
